The badmitton is cool, but what’s really amazing is just how many people came out to see it. That crowd is huge.
Then again, people here queue up to see american idol and dancing with the stars, so maybe it’s not that different after all.
I have noticed a consistent reference to American Idol in the comments. American Idol is big success here in Japan too… Sigh… All the Americans that I work with constantly pan the show. Then again, reality TV was invented in this country a long time ago, so the Japanese TV consumer is well “trained” for the likes of American Idol.
